Overview
Most of our Zanzibar and safari itineraries start on the mainland and end on the beach. This one runs the other way. Fly straight into Zanzibar, spend two nights finding your feet on the coast, then take a short scheduled flight to the Serengeti for a fly-in safari before flying home. It suits travellers who would rather ease in by the ocean than start with an early game-drive morning — and who want the safari, not the sun lounger, to be the last thing they do.
