Kilimanjaro is a trek, not a technical climb — no ropes, no climbing experience required — but altitude makes it demanding. The single biggest factor in whether you summit is how many days you give your body to acclimatise, which is why we favour the seven and eight-day routes over the shorter options.
Our mountain crews are paid at KPAP-recommended rates, carry portable oxygen and a first-aid kit, and run a pulse-oximeter health check every evening. Quality four-season tents, a dedicated dining tent, and all meals on the mountain are included on every route.
Most climbers combine Kilimanjaro with a few days of safari or a stretch in Zanzibar afterwards — ask us to build it into a single itinerary.
Kilimanjaro routes
The Whiskey Route — scenic, steep, and the best acclimatisation profile of the popular routes.
The quietest and most gradual approach, and the highest summit success rate we run.
The only route with hut accommodation throughout — shorter, drier, and harder on acclimatisation.
