Every itinerary on this site is built from the destinations below — we don't quote trips we don't actually know well. Each guide covers what the place does best, when to visit, how long it deserves, and which of our sample itineraries pass through it.

Beyond the northern circuit
Tanzania has far more protected land than the parks above — the southern and western circuits, and stretches of coast beyond Zanzibar. We don't run standard itineraries through these today, so rather than pad this page with generic content, here's what they're known for and how to reach them through us: as a custom-quoted addition, not a default stop.
Tanzania's largest national park, known for large elephant and lion populations and far fewer visitors than the north. Not on our standard routes today — ask us for a custom southern-circuit quote.
A vast wilderness south of Dar es Salaam, historically known as the Selous Game Reserve, with boat safaris on the Rufiji River. Outside our current operating area — available as a custom-quoted addition.
A rainforest park known for hiking and primates rather than game drives, part of Tanzania's Eastern Arc mountains. Not part of our standard itineraries — we can quote it on request for hiking-focused trips.
An accessible savannah park close to Dar es Salaam, often visited on a shorter southern-circuit trip. Outside our current operating area — ask us for a custom quote.
Tanzania's only park with an Indian Ocean beachfront, where wildlife occasionally comes down to the shore. Not part of our current routes — available as a custom addition for coastal itineraries.
A small, remote park on Lake Tanganyika famous for Jane Goodall's chimpanzee research. Well outside our current operating area in northern Tanzania — we can point you to the right specialist if this is your priority.
A caustic soda lake below the active Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, known for flamingo breeding and a demanding overnight hike to the crater rim. Not part of our standard itineraries — available as a custom add-on for guests wanting an adventurous detour off the main circuit.
